Commentary
The second generation PIAZZA was based on a coupe marketed as IMPULSE in the U.S. and as PA NERO in Japan, and had a newly developed 1.8L DOHC 16-valve engine.
The air dam integrated into the bumper and the rear spoiler and semi-retractable 4 halogen headlamps made the car look very sporty.
The real leather steering wheel of Italy’s MOMO and the seat made by Germany’s Recaro came as standard equipment, and the suspensions were in “handling by LOTUS” specifications.
